The Bampton Medical Practice covers Bampton and the surrounding villages of Aston, Cote, Clanfield, Black Bourton, Alvescot, Brize Norton and the town of Carterton where it has a branch surgery situated in the Carterton Health Centre. The surgery in Bampton is a beautiful, spacious purpose built building which was opened in 1991. We offer a full range of NHS services. In addition we have an onsite Pharmacy at the Bampton Surgery

Our staff all wear name badges so that you know who you are speaking. There is also a photoboard in the entrance to reception which includes attached staff such as District Nurses and Health Visitors.

Through this website we hope to improve services to all our patients and enable you to find the information required at the click of a mouse. You can order your repeat prescriptions online, download registration forms, cancel existing appointments, change your address and much more.

Occasionally we have a medical student attached to the practice. We feel this is an important part of our work in training future doctors and we ask for our patients co-operation. However, we respect your wishes if you do not want a student to sit in during a consultation.

This is to improve access for our patients who are unable to attend a routine doctors appointment during normal hours 8.30-6.00. These appointments are available for booking in advance. Please ring the surgery if you need to attend one of these later evenings or book on the website. The "out of hours" service will remain unchanged for urgent problems on 0856 345 8995
